Olympic Park 2030, Saving the Country

On June 3, 2026, a shortage of ballots in Seoul sparked a massive mobilization of over 60,000 young people to the Olympic Park Handball Stadium. This peaceful movement—led primarily by people in their twenties and thirties, a demographic previously viewed as apathetic—demanded a manual vote recount and triggered an investigation into electoral fraud. Lee Young-don’s documentary chronicles the 30 days of this grassroots electoral revolution, which transformed South Korea’s political system to safeguard the right to vote.
