“When a stray dog follows them home, an immigrant mother and her daughters discover that healing begins with letting something in, not keeping everything out.”

Maria, an immigrant mother, and her two daughters try to rebuild their lives in California, avoiding any mention of who's missing. When a stray black dog follows them home and refuses to leave, the silence begins to crack.
